After a season in which Liverpool failed to qualify for the next edition of the Champions League and also failed to win any title, Jürgen Klopp made the decision to rebuild the squad and asked the board for a large budget to make signings this summer, something that has been fulfilled so far.

Liverpool already managed to finalize the arrival of two players who promise to be fundamental pieces for the future of the team. The first of them was Alexis Mac Allister, who arrived from Brighton in exchange for 42 million euros. The 24-year-old Argentine midfielder was Klopp's top priority since the end of last season and was therefore the first signing of the summer for the Reds.

A few days ago, the arrival of Dominik Szoboszlai, who played last season at RB Leipzig where he attracted the interest of many teams around the world, was confirmed. However, Jürgen Klopp reportedly asked the Anfield board to avoid any complications and to pay the 70 million euros termination clause. In the end, the board decided to pay the money so that the German striker could have his second reinforcement.

Between these two signings they add up to 112 million euros, however everything seems to indicate that Liverpool would not stop there, as various media claim that our club would be looking for a couple of reinforcements at least. It has been speculated that only one more midfielder will join the team this summer, and it would seem to be between Khéphren Thuram and Romeo Lavia, however Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Reds want to sign both of them.

How much would Liverpool pay for Thuram and Lavia?

According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool remain interested in signing both players, however it is estimated that the deal they could reach with Nice to acquire Thuram would be between 40 and 45 million euros, while everything seems to indicate that Southampton will not ask for less than 58 million for Lavia, so in total Liverpool could spend around 215 million euros this summer.
