England won the Derby against Scotland by a score of 3-1 in a match played at Hampden Park in Glasgow to commemorate 150 years since the first meeting between the two nations, which is considered to be the first official match in the history of football.
The English showed their class and beat the Scots thanks to goals from Phil Foden, Jude Bellingham and captain Harry Kane, although the Scots were able to pull one back thanks to an own goal from Harry Maguire after a great move down the right flank by Liverpool's Andy Robertson.
The rest of the game was a lot of ball possession for England who were without Jordan Henderson in midfield who was left on the bench after playing in the last Euro qualifier against Ukraine which ended in a 1-1 draw.
England's next game is on 13 October when they face Australia in a friendly and that game is expected to see the inclusion of Liverpool international Trent Alexander Arnold as well as some surprises as if Joe Gomez and Harvey Elliot show good things with the Reds as well as Curtis Jones they could also be included.
