Liverpool will learn their 2022-2023 Champions League group stage opponents on Thursday 25 August at a draw in Istanbul, the venue for this season's final, which is scheduled to begin at 17:00 British Summer Time (BST).
The Reds are in the second group of the draw, meaning they will face a club from each of groups one, three and four. Teams from the same country cannot play each other in the group stage.
Due to the FIFA World Cup, this season's group stage will take place over eight weeks, starting on 6-7 September and ending with Matchday 6 on 1-2 November.
The draw for the Round of 16 will be made on 7 November, with the knockout rounds taking place in February and March.
