Liverpool have been trying to sign Andre Trindade since the last transfer window, but Fluminense turned down the offer as they were waiting to decide their future in the Copa Libertadores, giving the Reds the option to sign Andre early next year.
Liverpool were not looking forward to the move, but now the Reds are considering Andre's arrival at Anfield as the Brazilian side have now reached the final of the Copa Libertadores where they will face Boca Juniors, so in January the Brazilian midfielder would be all but linked with the Reds.

Andre has one of the highest salaries in the team at €5.7 million, a salary that would not be so high upon his arrival at Liverpool and players like Thiago Alcantara, who is one of the highest paid players in the team despite not playing since the end of last season, the Spaniard is on €12 million, just below Mohamed Salah.

Andre could have a considerable increase in salary earning an estimated €6.5 million in his first contract with the Reds, so this could increase exponentially based on his development during his time at Anfield, so the Brazilian youngster will have to be Thiago Alcantara's replacement going forward, as the Spaniard has been unable to play due to consistent injuries.

The Reds after André's possible arrival

One of the big doubts for Liverpool before the start of this season was the midfield where they suffered numerous and very sensitive losses, so the four reinforcements this season were in this sector of the field, however this has unleashed a great internal competition in the team, so after the arrival of André this competition would increase, so the players will have to improve and demonstrate their full potential, so the team will continue to improve a lot.
