Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino reached an agreement with Arabian club Al Ahli on Thursday to join them from next season. Firmino, a Brazil international and Liverpool player since 2015, had already announced that he would not renew his contract with the Reds, which expires on Friday, and agreed a million-dollar salary with the Asian club.

According to information from specialist journalist Fabrizio Romano, the details of the contract have not yet been revealed, but the duration of the contract, which would be for three full seasons until 2026, has been revealed. The only thing that remains to make Firmino's arrival in the Arabian Emirates official is the signing of the contract, which will take place as long as the Amazonian can pass the corresponding medical tests.

If he does so, the South American striker will join Senegalese goalkeeper Édouard Mendy, who will also join Al Ahli from Chelsea this summer. The Brazilian striker leaves the English club having made his mark on an era with Jürgen Klopp's side, where he formed a great trident with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mané, who had already left the club a year earlier.

<strong>The salary</strong>

Firmino won at least once in every tournament he played for Liverpool, scoring 111 goals in 363 official games. In terms of the salary Firmino will receive in Arabia, compared to Cristiano Ronaldo's 200 million, Bobby would receive about 100 million between salary and signing bonus, this taking into account what has been offered to players such as Brozovic
