While Pep Guardiola has tried to justify a possible defeat to the Reds with the absence of three of his players, Liverpool are already trying to deal with the possible absence of Alexander Arnold from the starting line-up this coming matchday, with Jurgen Klopp having already found great replacements for his star defender who will be working to be available before the 25 November fixture date.

But while Klopp has had that bad news on his mind, he has also had another report that points to the early return of one of his leaders for the match against City, with Dominik Szoboszlai the player who could be earlier than anyone else in training for the game due to some problems that could arise with the European Championship match between Hungary and Bulgaria.

According to the information in X offered by the Liverpool Show account in English, it is said that Dominik could not play the match against Bulgaria as this could be suspended by security measures, causing this Hungarian midfielder to have with his national team the pass to the Euro next year without having played, allowing this situation to return soon to Merseyside to be able to concentrate for the duel for the leadership against City. Although this situation has yet to be fully confirmed, Klopp would benefit from the suspension of the match between the Bulgarians and Hungarians, recovering one of his midfield leaders so that he can start working on certain tactics for the game on 25 November.

Reds go for PL top spot

Liverpool with a win at the Eithad Stadium would be giving an important message to the whole Premier League about their intentions to be the ones to take the league by storm this year, having solid arguments to achieve it being their victory against Guardiola's group the proof that they will be looking to obtain at any cost.
