Once again the refereeing has harmed Liverpool and in Thursday's Europa League group stage matchday 4 game in France against Toulouse, Jarrel Quansah's goal was wrongly disallowed as the referee, supported by the VAR, judged that there was a previous handball by the Argentine Alexis Mac Allister which did not exist.
The Bulgarian referee Georgi Kabakov decided not to validate the goal that had fallen at the last moment of the match because in the replay he saw an alleged handball by the Argentine midfielder, however after reviewing several shots there is a special one in which it is clear that the ball never touches Macca's arm so the equaliser should have counted.
Just as it has happened with the refereeing in the Premier League where both the VAR and the referees have harmed Liverpool with different decisions now it was at the continental level and it was very clear that the goal scored by our defender should have counted which would give us a unit to continue looking for the qualification to the next round of the tournament.
After the decision of the Bulgarian referee the Argentine Alexis Mac Allister had a brief altercation with the referee in which he claimed that he had not committed a handball although the referee simply ignored the claims and also during the end of the game several players came to talk to him to make him see his grotesque mistake that ended up hurting Liverpool.
