Was set to be Liverpool's new star but now suffered a nasty injury ahead of Bournemouth game

Liverpool are turning to their youth players and some of them are taking their chance, the most recent case seems to be that of Ben Doak or players who this season will have the opportunity to reaffirm that they have the potential to be in the first team like Curtis Jones or Harvey Elliott, who had a great performance with the U21 team and won the UEFA European Championship in this category.

However players like Calvin Ramsay who has shown good quality since his arrival at Liverpool and who is expected to have a great future as Jürgen Klopp has stated that "he is a great and real talent", unfortunately he has not been able to show his great level as he has had injuries that have limited his participation, as early in the second half of last season he had knee surgery and now he is injured again and will be out for 3 to 8 weeks.

Despite this his loan with Preston North End will continue and it is expected that he can have a great season as in the case of Conor Bradley who was on loan with Bolton and shone in his loan, who is expected this season to show what he learned outside Anfield, so it is expected a speedy recovery of Calvin Ramsey and can be a key player for PNE and in the future to earn a place in Liverpool. 

<strong>A great promise limited by injury</strong>

Calvin Ramsey is 20 years old and who arrived at Liverpool from Aberdeen of Scotland being a player with great potential, with great speed and great ability to get players off his back, so Jürgen Klopp put his trust in the Scot to sign him and finish polishing his great virtues, however upon his arrival at Anfield he has only been able to play 2 games with the Reds and in February 2023 he underwent knee surgery as a result of stress due to back problems. Calvin Ramsey is considered a great promise and that is why they are looking for his recovery so he can show his best level again.
