In recent years Liverpool has been known for making good signings, as most of the players who have arrived at Anfield in recent times have made great contributions to the club's success.

However, there are also signings who, when they arrived at Anfield excited the fans but over time lowered their expectations and ended up leaving through the back door. Such is the case of Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo, who arrived at Liverpool from FC Barcelona as one of the top prospects in world football and during his time with the Reds generated disappointment after disappointment.

Melo was projected to be the best midfielder in the world, and some were tipping him to be the next Steven Gerrard because he shared the position of Liverpool's legendary captain. However, injuries and his poor form left him as one of the biggest disappointments in the team's recent history.

Now, after finishing his contract with Liverpool, Arthur Melo has to report to Juventus. However, the Brazilian's level is so low that even the Italian coach Massimiliano Allegri has already told him that he does not count on him so Melo should look for a new team for the 2023-2024 season.

Where will Arthur Melo play next season?

After his departure from Liverpool and Juventus' announcement that Arthur Melo will not continue, the Brazilian midfielder has reportedly asked his agent to look for a team in the Premier League. However, so far there is no offer from any club in England that is interested in signing Arthur Melo.
