It is no secret to anyone that the transfer market has not turned out as fans, players and even Jürgen Klopp himself had hoped, as when the previous season ended it was said that Klopp and the Anfield board's plan was to rebuild the squad, especially the midfield, something that so far has not quite happened, but that a signing of Marco Verratti's level could change.
Since a few weeks ago, in which our Liverpool has been involved in a lot of rumors, it was reported that Jürgen Klopp would be interested in signing Marco Verratti from PSG, who in recent years had become one of the best midfielders in the world, however for those days his departure from the Parisian club looked very difficult.
A Saudi Arabian club even contacted PSG to sign the 30-year-old Italian midfielder, but the Parisians rejected the offer. Now, however, news has emerged that could put Verratti back on Klopp's radar, as RMC Sports reports that PSG have left several players out of the first team and have notified them that they will have to find a new club, and one of them is precisely Verratti.
The need to sign midfielders is evident for our Liverpool and undoubtedly Marco Verratti would be a great addition to the scheme of Jürgen Klopp, Liverpool's board could offer around 40 million euros, which is the value that the player currently has according to Transfermarkt, as it had been reported that the club would have more than 100 million to spend before the end of the transfer window. In addition, the departures of Henderson and Fabinho opened up wage space, so the club could well offer him one of the best salaries in the team.
