It was a very entertaining game at Anfield on Sunday as both Liverpool and Fulham scored three goals in the first half, two for the Reds with goals from Trent Alexander Arnold from a free kick and the Argentine Alexis Mac Allister who hit a powerful shot from outside the box into the left hand corner of the visitors' goal, who had equalised with a goal from former Liverpool man Harry Wilson.
Alexander Arnold opened the scoring with a free-kick in the 20th minute with a celebration that could have been taken as a provocation to the FA as it was reminiscent of his celebration against Manchester City where he was warned he could receive a ban. Then in the 39th minute Argentine Alexis Mac Allister scored a spectacular world class goal with a powerful shot from outside the box, although the visitors had already equalised earlier with a goal from Harry Wilson.
This goal by Alexis Mac Allister could earn Liverpool around 40 million as although it is not the winning goal it could help the team move into second place in the Premier League standings and confirm themselves as a contender to win the Premier League title remembering that the team that lifts the trophy receives a financial prize of 40 million.
The Argentine arrived at Anfield this season and has become an undisputed starter for German manager Jürgen Klopp. This was his first goal for Liverpool, although he also already had an assist in the win over Toulouse in the Europa League group stage match.
