Liverpool slipped to yet another Premier League defeat, this time at the hands of another bottom-of-the-table club, Leeds United. By a 2-1 scoreline, the Red's slipped to 9th place with 16 points. This result set the social media ablaze, which was divided between those against and those in favour of the management of manager Jürgen Klopp at the helm of the Merseyside club.
From England came the report from The Athletic newspaper, who through its correspondent James Pearce, poured out his opinion of Klopp in an incredible way. "He's got so much credit in the bank after what he's achieved at the club and rightly so but it's fair to question his decisions this season [and in the summer]," he said on his personal Twitter account and that of the English media.

But the subject did not stop there, with Pearce going on to add that this is not the direction and solidity that in years gone by it has boasted. "Because Liverpool keep on making the same kind of mistakes. The weaknesses are glaring. It's really hard to understand why his form has nosedived to such an extent. It's baffling," he said amid a horde of messages both for and against Klopp, who has explained that this start is due to the club's injury and injury absentees.
The Athletic journalist concluded by saying that the Red's actions go beyond just the attitude on the pitch. "So many of [Liverpool's squad] look knackered. It has to be a lack of energy because you can't tell me that's it's an attitude problem. Liverpool [are] guilty of not freshening things up enough last summer," said the former Echo Sports contributor.
Fans responded by saying that the defeat at Anfield to 'The Peacocks' must be put behind them, and now the club must get as many Premier League points as possible before the World Cup break in Qatar. They know that the game against SSC Napoli, while important, is not so relevant as they have already qualified for the Round of 16. The priority has to be the EPL and the EFL Cup game against Derby County in ten days' time.
