Our Liverpool was set to be one of the most active teams in the summer transfer market, because after a disappointing season, the board would have the objective of reinforcing the squad with the arrival of several players, something that has apparently become more complicated than expected.
Jürgen Klopp established, since the end of last season, that the team's top priority would be to sign Alexis Mac Allister. Now that the board has made the arrival of the 24-year-old Argentine midfielder official, they are looking for other reinforcements, but apparently things will not happen as quickly as expected.
Klopp's main priority this summer is to sign midfielders and especially young midfielders who can contribute to the team's long-term project. That's why in recent weeks the names of several players have been mentioned, but there are three who seem to be the most interesting to Klopp: Képhren Thuram, Manu Koné and Gabri Veiga.
Gabri Veiga is precisely one of the players for whom Liverpool's board would have to compete with other teams, as the 21-year-old Spanish midfielder has aroused the interest of other teams in Europe, as it has now been reported that the current Italian league champion, Napoli, would be willing to bid to sign him. Veiga is currently valued at around €30 million, thanks to his good performances with Celta Vigo.
Although Gabri Veiga is one of the main players that interest Jürgen Klopp, reports say that the two priorities are Thuram and Koné, as the German tactician considers that they could be the most important players in Liverpool's new project.
