Although Liverpool were unable to secure victory and the overall lead in the competition playing at home against Arsenal, the group led by Jürgen Klopp could finally feel from their fans the great atmosphere and support that the German coach had missed so much, showing one of the biggest fans in the Premier League why Anfield is one of the most mystical stadiums in the world.

With incessant chanting and unparalleled support for any of their players, Anfield was a compelling stage for an Arsenal team that, despite having taken the lead, could not manage to win the game after being beaten by a Mohamed Salah who made the whole stadium rumble with his goal shout, being that warm and motivating support part of what the Reds need to continue being that invincible team at Anfield.

But even though Liverpool missed an opportunity to be the overall leader of the Premier League, the support for the Reds remains the same, with no other team on Merseyside at the moment other than the one led by Jürgen Klopp, being for the rivals of this institution a real dilemma to come out victorious, accepting clubs like Arsenal that point as a victory that they celebrate big because they can remain above the Reds, although unfortunately for them it is still only by the amount of a single point.

The words of Klopp who pointed out that the public of his team as a very dull and without feeling made them return to the stands renewed and eager to see their club achieve great feats at home, fulfilling their obligation which is to present an uncomfortable scenario to any opponent, leaving only Klopp and his boys to do the rest on the field which is to get the three points with the best soccer that can be seen on that weekend.

Anfield looks to be more decisive for 2024

This match, which ended in a 1-1 draw against Arsenal, is the Reds' farewell home game of the year, being their first opportunity to be one of the heaviest in England on the day after New Year's Day, with Liverpool facing a Newcastle side that has had a couple of surprises during the campaign that Klopp and his players will try to avoid in front of their fans.
