This could be Naby Keita's new team

Earlier in the summer, reports emerged that Nabi Keita (midfielder) was unhappy with Liverpool and expressed interest in leaving the club. While there are no longer any reports to refute these claims, reports now suggest Liverpool is keen to leave the club after his contract finishes this summer. 

Naby Keita joined the Reds in 2018 after spending an extra year at RB Leipzig in Germany, when he would be Liverpool's transformative signing. Somewhat ironically, in the 12 months between his agreeing to a move and his actual move, the Reds reinvented their midfield without him.

Liverpool agreed on Nabi Keita to join Merseyside in July 2018 after playing for the Reds at RB Leipzig last season. The 62 million dollar deal would set a club record for Liverpool and make Keita the most expensive African player ever. The Guinea international was named in the Bundesliga's Team of the Year before joining the club.

Naby Keita would transfer to Newcastle

With Jonjo Shelvey injured and Bruno Guimaraes sitting deeper in midfield, they need a player to go alongside Joelinton. And the option of Keita emerged since his transfer could cost up to £53m in January given his contract situation. This might be a perfect move for both sides, Newcastle needs a midfielder like Keita, and he needs somewhere to be the first choice.
