Liverpool is having an excellent start to the season and fans couldn't be happier with the team's current performance. The team feels confident on the pitch and has shown great progress since that debut draw against Chelsea. The refusal of some players such as Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia somehow demotivated the club and even the same manager Jurgen Klopp, who not satisfied with only two signings, decided to look for alternatives in the transfer market and thus complete his team with the missing pieces he needed in the midfield. Finally, Liverpool ended up with four signings this season: Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Gravenberch and Endo

Moreover, the offensive power is such that it has been demonstrated in the matches against Aston Villa and Wolverhampton. This series of results leaves Liverpool as one of the favorites to take the Premier League. Even, many fans are sure that our team can be compared with Manchester City.  At the moment, Pep Guardiola's team occupies the first position in the table. Nevertheless, the Anfield team is dangerously close to the top waiting for an oversight from the current champion. In this same situation, there is Mikel Arteta's Arsenal who have also had an excellent performance.

On the other hand, Liverpool has one of the best offensive squads in the UK. With names like Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo, Diogo Jota, Ben Doak, among others. In Salah's case, the Egyptian has proven his quality since his arrival in 2017 and has become one of Merseyside's greatest icons.

Given this, many fans and specialized pages consider that the 31-year-old striker is at the level of Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi. According to Liverpool Echo, the player has the quality of both players but also the determination and loyalty of Lionel Messi.

Why?

This is because Mohamed Salah could have left the club this summer. However the player decided not to do so expressing his desire to continue at Liverpool. However, this is based on an opinion and there is nothing confirmed at the moment. Despite being linked with a possible exit, everything seems to indicate that both sides rejected Saudi Arabia's offer.
