We are just weeks away from the opening of the winter transfer window, where the Red's are planning to be very busy

While the eyes of the world are on Qatar for the World Cup, things in the Premier League are still hotting up and Liverpool fans continue to look ahead to the second half of the season, where the Merseyside club currently sit in sixth place, but with the necessary arguments to climb the table and be in a better position by the end of May.

After the completion of the last Premier League game, where they beat Southampton 3-1, head coach Jürgen Klopp spoke about what is expected in this winter transfer window. "If there is something possible, we will do it. If a door opens, we are also open. It's not about wanting or whatever. Of course, we want to improve the team all the time," the German said.

Confirmed, he's leaving Liverpool, a major blow for Klopp

The Red's are living in uncertainty as to whether or not they will change owners, with reports from England revealing that FSG have accepted that they are willing to sell shares in the Anfield outfit. They will listen to offers and make a decision. This could be an issue for Klopp, who is lining up reinforcements who could arrive at Anfield next January, as well as players he could bring back from injury.

Incidentally Liverpool chairman Tom Werner told the Boston Globe in an interview that there is a possibility of a change of ownership. "We are exploring a sale, but there's no urgency, there's no time frame for us, and as far as I'm concerned, it's business as usual," he said. He also mentioned that he is confident of remaining within the club. "One result could be our continued administration for quite some time."

On the sporting theme, one of the elements that could recover Klopp, would be the Carioca Arthur Melo, who according to reports inside the club, could return at the end of the year or early 2023, being for the German, a kind of free reinforcement. Regardless of the incorporation of the former Juventus, The Pool plans to make moves in January to reinforce the club's aspirations on the road to local and international titles.
