The Colombian is having a good season with Liverpool

The Colombian is having a good season with Liverpool

Luis Díaz obtained his fifth consecutive valuation and came considerably closer to the Colombian record held by James Rodríguez. Liverpool's Guajiro was valued at 75 million euros, a figure that makes him one of the 25 most valuable footballers in the world and consolidates him as the most valued Colombian player of the moment. Watch out, because he is only 25 years old.

Luis Diaz has had an increase of 35 million euros since he arrived in English football from FC Porto. His highest figure in Portuguese football had been 40 million euros, but this 2022 has been totally productive for the Colombian in terms of his exponential valuation. His individual level and his good start to the season suggest he could continue to rise.

The Colombian record in market value is held by James Rodríguez, who was valued at €80 million in 2015 when he wore the shirt of Real Madrid. The current Olympiacos player was able to set that figure on two occasions, as he also made a positive appearance at Bayern Munich and reached that record for the second time.

It is important to note that in that transition between Spanish and German football, James dropped to 50 million, so he managed to revalue himself to the top when he was already 27 years old. Today, however, the creative midfielder has a market value of just 13 million euros, a figure that excludes him from the top 10 best-valued Colombians today.

Díaz will have to keep shining at Liverpool

Not surprisingly, Luis Díaz and James Rodríguez are the most valuable Colombians in history. Both have played in the elite of world football and have managed to make headlines by the time they reached the record figure. For now, Luis Diaz has the chance to continue to grow at Liverpool and help the Reds out of their early season doubt.
