If Arthur's social media post is any indication, he's more than prepared to start a new chapter and leave the past behind as the new year offers the possibility to do, the Brazilian player began 2022 with Juventus and made 21 appearances before suffering an injury and was loaned to Liverpool, where he has since made just one appearance for the Reds' senior team.

Arthur, who had to have surgery in October, is getting closer to making a comeback, but he will need to get back in shape if he wants to play any role in Liverpool's midfield this year, After experiencing "mental instability" in his personal life and a "difficult football year," the 26-year-old is definitely anxious to draw lessons from 2022 and see this following year turn out better.

The year I developed the most as a person—as a kid, a boyfriend, a friend, and an athlete—was 2022,  I only have to thank the year 2022 for all the lessons I learned from it. It was a challenging year and a challenging time but it was a year that I learned a lot from and will carry with me into the years to come, welcome 2023 and thank you 2022!
