The Reds could be looking to sign a number of world-class stars as they look to build a quality squad for the future. Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool have fallen apart this season, with Sadio Mané's departure seeming to have hit the Reds hard. Another departure that the German manager has confirmed has affected his side has been that of Wijnaldum, who joined Paris Saint-Germain only to end up at Mourinho's Roma.

Since then, the Anfield outfit have been looking at the possibility of bringing in new reinforcements both in midfield and attack, as well as a defence in need of players for the future. With Liverpool approaching the end of an era and preparing for what is to come, the January transfer window could be a pivotal one.
