Liverpool is set to be one of the busiest teams in the upcoming transfer window, as both the Reds' board and Jürgen Klopp have decided that the squad is in need of renewal, especially in midfield. The German tactician has his eye on several players around the world and according to the latest reports, one player has refused to play for Liverpool, preferring to go to a lesser team.

Jürgen Klopp had in his sights a player who, according to the Transfermarkt portal, is valued at 30 million euros, and according to information from several portals in Europe the German tactician would have been very interested in taking him to Anfield, especially considering that the player in question was relegated to the second division of English football.

In sports it is well known that there are athletes who prefer to stay out of the spotlight of the biggest team in England, such as our own Liverpool, which only goes to show that talent is not always enough to play for a big team.

Such is the case of 26-year-old Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans, who was relegated with Leicester City last season in the Premier League and would have interested Jürgen Klopp to reinforce the Reds midfield, however it seems that Tielemans preferred to remain in the comfort of not being demanded and go to a team of lesser relevance.

Where will Tielemans play next season?

Youri Tielemans, who was finishing his contract with Leicester City this summer, has reportedly reached an agreement to become the new player of Aston Villa, team to which he would arrive as a free agent. This leaves Klopp without one of his main candidates to shore up Liverpool's squad.
