The Reds have attracted a lot of attention in recent weeks as they have not only been linked with players who can occupy the midfield position such as Jude Bellingham, but they have also been linked with players who occupy the position of centre-forward and defenders, raising the possibility that Jurgen Klopp may now be interested in a player who could be Mohamed Salah's partner.
If anything has characterised the Merseyside side in recent years, it has been the wise decision to sign low-profile players who have performed spectacularly on their arrival, such as Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mané and Andy Robertson, and the list could grow with the link made to Egyptian Ibrahim Adel, Mohamed Salah's current team-mate in the Egyptian national team.
His season is a failure, but this player is a candidate to strengthen Liverpool
Griezmann to Liverpool? This deal could make it possible
According to "90min", the Egyptian national team international has already been spotted by the Premier League team, as at just 21 years of age, Adel has all the characteristics that the Reds are looking for in a player to be part of the generational leap that they are going through, having in his short career a significant number of games in the Egyptian Premier League.
Ibrahim currently plays for Cairo Pyramids FC, a team that finished second in the most recent campaign. In addition, Adel has had a significant run in his national team, progressing from U-21 to the first team, making a total of 21 appearances, scoring six goals and assisting on four occasions during that run, generating endless murmurings from different teams in Europe who have already had their eye on the winger.
Liverpool have not been wrong in many recruitments since Klopp took over and, at £5 million, Adel could well be a good investment for the future of the red institution, as well as having Mo Salah as a partner to help him in his adaptation process, his low cost and incredible potential could make him an asset that could be worth millions in some time, being for football and economic issues a rounded deal that Jurgen Klopp and sporting director Julian Ward could gamble on.
