Firmino is among the top scorers born on the American continent in the Premier League.

Roberto Firmino managed to score twice in Liverpool's 9-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon at Anfield. Those two goals earned him the record of 100 for Liverpool in all competitions, but also puts him on another important list of players.

Of the South Americans who have played in the Premier League, Firmino moved up in his aspirations to take fourth place from Argentina's Carlos Tevez (West Ham and Manchester United), who has 84 goals in England's top flight, while he leapfrogged Luis Suarez, a well-known former Liverpool player, by four goals.

Jamaican-born Raheem Shaquille Sterling (Chelsea) is considered in this list, with 11 goals, as well as Dwight Yorke, a former footballer considered one of Trinidad and Tobago's greatest exponents, who played for Aston Villa, Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers and Birmingham City, with 123 goals, as well as Kun Aguero, who holds the top spot in this list with 184 goals after playing for Manchester City from 2011 to 2021.

Firmino's 100 with Liverpool

The No.9's second goal against AFC Bournemouth at Anfield marked a record 100 goals since Firmino joined the club from German side Hoffenheim in the summer of 2015. The Brazilian became the 19th player to reach triple figures in Reds history, doing so with a brace in his 331st appearance.

Seventy-three of Firmino's goals have come in the Premier League so far, while 20 times he has scored in the Champions League, plus another goal in qualifying for European competition. Firmino also scored twice in the FA Cup and FIFA Club World Cup respectively, and has scored single-handedly for the Reds in the League Cup and Europa League.
