Before the 12th matchday of the Saudi Pro-League, the teams of this competition have had to face in the middle of the week the match of the King's Champions Cup, which is in its round of 16 stage and which had in the duel between Al-Nassr and Al-Ettifaq the most entertaining 120 minutes so far, with all those players who used to play in the old continent being completely protagonists.

But the fact that several of the stars with experience in Europe's top leagues were in the limelight did not mean that they performed well during the match, and aside from Sadio Mané who scored the only goal of the game during extra time, the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Jordan Henderson were more in the limelight for their little spat than for their good performances.

The frustration generated by the passing of the minutes and the high intensity of the match caused Jordan Henderson to have an unsporting attitude against Otávio Edmilson by pushing him repeatedly when the Al-Nassr player was going for the ball to restart a foul that had been committed, causing this action of the English midfielder the fury of Cristiano Ronaldo who was seen annoyed with the former captain of the Reds.

Even after the final whistle CR7 went to Henderson to complain about his actions during the play that did not end up with the England international being sent off, being for the Portuguese a very unsportsmanlike gesture from someone who not long ago ceased to belong to Europe's elite.

Henderson's decline is evident

It seems that since leaving Liverpool, Henderson has only been able to make his name heard thanks to his most recent controversies, with such acts being a clear indicator that Hendo is not living a good moment as a footballer to the point of being disliked by the fans of his national team, not to mention the mediocre acceptance he has had as a star of Al-Ettifaq.
