Certainly, he would not have planned to be already making arrangements to join up with Liverpool and Jürgen Klopp in Dubai, yet that’s the reality, after Uruguay failed to progress beyond the group stages, caught between its old guard and new generation of talent, the perennial South American overachievers failed for once to punch above their weight…
