Stefan Bajcetic, one of the young Spanish talents who left Spain in search of an opportunity, is in luck. The 18-year-old Galician midfielder has renewed his contract with Liverpool, the club who signed him at the beginning of 2021 from the youth ranks of Celta Vigo. He is a player who was already fully integrated into the dynamics of the first team and, although the Anfield team does not specify it in the official statement (it speaks of a long-term contract), he has signed a new contract until 2027. This is attested to by Paul Joyce, journalist for The Times.
The plague of injuries suffered by Jürgen Klopp's team in midfield opened the door to the first team for the young Bajcetic, who was already showing promise in the Reds' youth system. Klopp holds him in high esteem and has already given him a total of 351 minutes in the Premier League, League Cup, FA Cup and Champions League, a competition in which he has played in three of the six matches in the group stage. A confidence that the midfielder from Vigo has returned in the form of good performances, including a goal, the one he scored against Aston Villa away in the league.

Son of Srdjan Bajcetic, another illustrious player at Balaídos, he told Liverpool's official website: "Obviously I'm very, very happy. I'm very excited to continue playing for this club and I hope to play for many more years. My family and I are very proud to sign a new contract. It's unbelievable, something I've dreamed about for the two years I've been here and worked hard for.
While the figures have not been disclosed, several reports suggest that Bajectic will no longer earn the 135,000 he earned prior to this renewal. Now everything points to the fact that his salary will have a very important increase reaching two million, the same salary of another promising player like Harvey Elliot and surpassing the newcomer Fabio Carvalho who earns less than two million.
