Club experts have joined the Academy in order to teach young players how to be great

Club experts have joined the Academy in order to teach young players how to be great

Caitlin Hawkins, the Academy education manager, led a programme that used experts from the club to teach and perfect skills to the young players in the club. These programme was for young man from 16 to 18 years old and lasted a whole year. 

Benefit of these courses is that they gained the BTEC in Sporting Excellence and a new football-specific apprenticeship. 

What were they taught?

There were a lot of different courses the players like Isaac Mabaya took. These were: math, spanish, english (for foreign players), and courses like leadership, coaching, injury prevention, mental health and nutrition.
