The summer transfer window has been very productive for Liverpool, as so far the Anfield board has managed to sign two players that could be very important for the future of the team, as both Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai are two very promising players.

However, it seems that Jürgen Klopp would not be satisfied with those two reinforcements and would have in mind to sign at least a couple of more players to strengthen the team and return to the Champions League as soon as possible after a disappointing season. But making more signings could be a very complicated task for the Reds' board, as several reports claim that they will first have to sell players.

In that sense, some Liverpool players have aroused the interest of other clubs, and although Klopp would not have in mind to sell them, it could be the only option if he wants to sign the players he wants for next season, so perhaps he could end up selling players who would be very important for the next campaign.

Such is the case of Ibrahima Konaté, a 24-year-old French central defender who is seen by Jürgen Klopp as the next leader of Liverpool's defense. Konaté has attracted the interest of current Serie A champions Napoli, who, with the departure of Kim Min Jae to FC Bayern, are looking for his replacement and Konaté is at the top of the list of targets. To try to convince Liverpool to sell him, Napoli could offer a price close to 40 million euros, as the player is currently valued at 38 million. However, the Reds' current squad is not deep enough to think about getting rid of one of the best defenders they have.

Players hoping to arrive at Anfield

If Liverpool can finally find a way to continue signing players, there are a couple of names that would be a priority for Jürgen Klopp. Romeo Lavia is now considered Klopp's main target, followed by Khéphren Thuram. Liverpool are also looking for a new defender, and the names of Perr Schuurs and Edmond Tapsoba have been mentioned as possible candidates.
