Alexis Mac Allister has snubbed Luis Diaz by naming the strongest player in the Liverpool dressing room. The Argentine went for the team icon. Luis Diaz has become an important figure for Anfield, the Colombian started the season scoring and assisting his teammates. However, Luis Diaz is nowhere near to being their favourite. Mohamed Salah has shown off his ripped physique during impassioned goal celebrations over the years. And, unsurprisingly, the Egyptian spends a lot of time honing his muscles in the training ground gym.

When asked by Goal to name the strongest player on the team, Mac Allister said, "I would say Mo, or [Kostas] Tsimikas." When asked to talk more about Salah, he added: "Oh, yeah. He's in the gym all day. so he's very strong." Salah doesn't just work on the training pitch. In an interview with France Football last summer, he explained how dedicated he is to his body.

"In our house there are two rooms dedicated to different fitness and bodybuilding machines," he said. "At home I can also do cryotherapy, there is a hyperbaric chamber. I am constantly looking to improve my fitness. It's true that I like to say that my house looks like a hospital, [but] my wife doesn't like that!" he said.

The routine

Although Luis Diaz is no stranger to the gym, having spent part of his playing career building muscle mass, his teammates are actually more athletic. Luis Díaz also suffered a recent 6-month injury that made it difficult for him to get back to his unbalanced rhythm.
