This transfer window is turning out to be very different to what our Liverpool would have planned a month ago, as although a rebuilding of the squad was intended to take place, there are players who are set to leave and whose departures were not budgeted for, which could create instability in the squad ahead of next season.
Everything seems to indicate that Jordan Henderson and Fabinho are very close to leaving the team to go to Saudi Arabia to earn a lot of money. Their departures were not considered by Jürgen Klopp this summer, however both players have reportedly spoken to the German tactician to communicate their desire to leave the club, before which Klopp has decided to give the green light for the board to negotiate their transfers.
Even before the imminent departures of Fabinho and Hendo, Klopp had already had in mind to reinforce the team with at least another midfielder and a central defender, but now that he could be without those two players, the need would have increased. That is why Klopp could not afford to lose another player, let alone one who will be a key part of his plans for next season.
Such is the case of Andrew Robertson, the Liverpool left-back who has won everything with our club in recent years and has been a fundamental factor in the team's success. Because of this, he would have aroused the interest of Real Madrid, who would be very interested in him, but the possible arrival of Kylian Mbappé could make Andy stay at Anfield.
If Real Madrid finally decide to go for Mbappé this summer, they will have to pay a huge amount of money, as not only will they have to pay for the signing, but they will also have to negotiate with Kylian Mbappé his salary and bonuses, which is estimated could mean an expense of 500 million euros, something that would make the arrival of more players this summer to Real Madrid impossible.
