Liverpool's board have done a fantastic job, as they have so far managed to secure the signing of two players who perfectly meet the requirements that Jürgen Klopp was asking for when last season ended, and although the job is not yet finished, there is no doubt that Liverpool seem to be on the right track during this summer transfer window.
Both Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai have raised high expectations for the upcoming season, as both are very promising players who had good seasons with their former teams. However, it seems that Szoboszlai, the 22-year-old Hungarian midfielder, has caused the most excitement among fans.
Even before his arrival at Anfield was made official, Liverpool fans began to have a great affection for Dominik, as statements surfaced in which Szoboszlai claimed that Jürgen Klopp is the best manager in the world and that this was one of the main reasons for him to seek to become a new Reds player.
With every new statement Dominik Szoboszlai makes, he is gaining more and more affection from the fans, as he has shown, even without having made his debut with Liverpool yet, that he understands the club's philosophy and many already consider that he is on the right path to become a future legend of the team, as he decided to wear the mythical number 8 of the eternal captain Steven Gerrard to begin with. However, his latest statements have raised even more excitement among fans.
Dominik Szoboszlai recently assured that from the moment he heard about Liverpool's interest, he wanted to come to Anfield and does not care that the team will not play Champions League next season, something he would have been able to do at RB Leipizig. “As soon as I heard that it was a serious matter, I didn't think about the Champions League. I will gladly sacrifice a year. Instead I will try to win the Europa League with Liverpool, because that is the goal.”, he said.
