Liverpool have just one game left before the start of their 2023/24 Premier League season. After their defeat against Bayern Munich by three goals to four they will now have to face Darmstadt 98. Below we show you the possible line-up that Jürgen Klopp will use for this match. The surprises would be Tsimikas, the Greek left-back is a prominent option on Liverpool's left flank.

Tsimikas is noted for his pace, his ability to burst down the flank and his contribution in creating play from the defensive zone. His versatility gives Jürgen Klopp more tactical options in defence. Also catching the eye would be Harvey Elliot, the young English talent Harvey Elliot is one of Liverpool's most promising young talents. Elliot stands out for his ability to unbalance in one-on-one situations, his vision and passing accuracy. His versatility to operate in different positions in midfield gives the team an interesting option in the creation of play.

In addition, Argentine midfielder Alexis Mac Allister is another midfield option for Liverpool. Mac Allister is noted for his ability to win balls back, his good distribution skills and his ability to add to the attack. His adaptability in different midfield roles makes him a valuable player for the team. This would be great news because against Bayern Munich in Singapore he came off the bench.

Training surprises

But before Monday's game, Saturday's training session saw the presence of two players who could give us hope of winning the Premier League again. Stefan Bajcetic and Thiago Alcantara have both recovered from injury and will now work alongside their team-mates with the possibility of taking part in the Premier League opener on Sunday 13 August against Chelsea.
