The Egyptian is still keeping an eye on the World Cup and will now have to decide between England and Senegal

England left no room for surprise with a clear victory over Wales in the final match of Group E of the Qatar 2022 World Cup. Shoutgate's side sealed top spot to go through to the last 16, where they will face Senegal. The Welsh, meanwhile, said goodbye to the World Cup after taking just one point from their three matches.

Although Rob Page's side held on until half-time, England were a cyclone in the second half. Rashford, the man of the match, opened the scoring with a fantastic free-kick and Foden, taking advantage of another Harry Kane assist, followed up with the second. Rashford again made it 3-0 as England served notice of their form to the rest of the Qatar teams.

Already eliminated from World Cup but Klopp wants this striker

England, far superior to neighbours Wales, won the British duel 3-0 in Doha on Tuesday, with Marcus Rashford playing a decisive role, to finish top of World Cup Group B, after which Senegal await them in the last 16.

Rashford, who scored a brace, had a hand in all three goals. He scored the first from a free-kick (50), while the next move saw him steal the ball in a move that ended with a Phil Foden strike (51). To cap off a great night, he scored the third goal in a personal move that took him past the Welsh defence (68).

Salah wants Senegal for Mané

Mohamed Salah despite not playing for Egypt has been keeping a close eye on the Qatar World Cup. In the last-16 clash between Senegal and England, the Liverpool striker will have a tough decision on which team to support. England is the country where he plays and has team-mates Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold, but Senegal represents his friend Sadio Mané as well as being from the same continent as him. Jürgen Klopp is upset because he expects more reinforcements in January.
