As they seek to rebuild their frontline, Liverpool have targeted Rennes attacker Martin Terrier as a possible addition. News come after the Reds officially announced this summer that they had signed striker Darwin Nunez, in a deal that might exceed £85.5 million.

Following Liverpool's January acquisition of Luis Diaz from Porto, the club changed almost their entire front line.Sadio Mane left Liverpool for Bayern Munich, and Divock Origi left the team to join Milan this summer.

Although Mohamed Salah signed a new contract with Liverpool, Klopp has had to restructure his team's attacking lineup as a result of transfers and departures. Firmino's future is still up in the air, although rumors claim the Brazilian will be free to go to secure more first-team playing time.

As he lost prominence, slipping behind Salah, Diaz, and Diogo Jota in the hierachy, Firmino played 20 times for Klopp in the Premier League last season. Nunez's arrival is likely to severely restrict his appearances in the squad.

Terrier shows promise in France

After having his most successful scoring campaign of his career at Rennes, when he scored 21 goals, Terrier, 25, has been a target for Liverpool. At Anfield, his adaptability in a variety of offensive is thought to be praised.
