Barça are entrusting Deco with all the transfer operations to be carried out in the winter transfer window. At the moment, everything seems to indicate that Vitor Roque will arrive in January and will be part of the first team sooner than expected. However, he might not be the only addition in this window. According to various Swedish media reports, Barça's Sporting Director is after Momodou Sonko, a left winger completely unknown to most people. He plays for Hacken and at the age of 18 has already won the praise of the entire Nordic country.

Scouts from Europe's top clubs are keeping a close eye on him. Liverpool and Leipzig want him and are hoping to beat them to him. Both clubs, especially the German club, have a unique scouting group that has managed to unearth promising players in recent years.  Deco asks Barça to sign him as soon as possible so that his price does not increase. Right now he has a starting price of 9 million, a very affordable amount considering how the market is moving.

It is true that he is still young and plays in a league inferior to the Spanish one, but he has shown great virtues that make him a player to be taken into account. Deco is very active in trying to close the deal as soon as possible, but he knows that Barça is not the only one in the bidding. Economically, the two rivals are better off, but the director hopes to be able to convince the player's agent with the project for the future that they have in the club.

Fight for Sonko

In his last season in Sweden, Sonko has scored seven goals and four assists. A key aspect is that the winger will not arrive to replace João Félix. Barça's plan is that the two can share a position, although for that to happen they will first have to close the deal for the Portuguese.
