Liverpool's Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcantara admitted that the 'Reds' failed attempt to try and win the quadruple crown (EFL Cup, FA Cup, Premier League and Champions League) last season is weighing them down this term. On their way to the quadruple crown Liverpool played every possible game of the season taking the EFL Cup, winning the FA Cup against Chelsea, losing the Champions League Final against Real Madrid and finishing second in the Premier League just one point behind Manchester City.
Jurgen Klopp spoke a fortnight ago of underestimating the price of winning every title last season, and Thiago has been the first member of the squad to endorse his manager's theory. "It's not just physical aspects. It's something psychological, because we were so close to winning everything and we just touched it, but unfortunately it went away. In the bad moments, we have to be together as a team," explained Thiago Alcantara in words reproduced by the 'Daily Mail'.

"We are going game by game to get points that will help us to be as high up as possible. Our objective is the next game. Not to be in the top four or in the Europa League, just the next game," the Spain international said of Liverpool's strategy to get back on track.
Off the pitch, Thiago has expensive tastes and the most eye-catching is a car collection that Cristiano Ronaldo would envy. Among his cars is an Audi RS7 Sportback costing 200,000. This car was given to him before he arrived at Liverpool and he has been seen on the streets of Liverpool impressing everyone.
