After Luis Suarez had a dream year with Gremio, having been one of the top scorers in the Brazilian league, the attacking midfielder will take a break before deciding his next destination, having recently been linked with the MLS, More specifically with Inter Miami where he would be reunited with old Barcelona acquaintances such as Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and Lionel Messi, but as there is still nothing clear about the future of the Charrúa striker, the Reds could dream of having him as the winter reinforcement to cover the absence of Mohamed Salah who will participate in the AFcon.

This whole situation surrounding Suarez looks much more like a dream than a reality that is about to be fulfilled at Liverpool, and even if Salah has to be absent from the institution for a few games, surely the coach Jürgen Klopp will find a way to solve the shortage of the right winger, with Ben Doak being a perfect candidate to fill the needs in attack.

After Jürgen Klopp declared that his priority is not to sign just any player, it is understandable that Luis is among the group of unnecessary purchases in the Reds, and nobody can deny the great quality that Suarez still has despite his age, but this element would only take the place of a youth player who has all the potential to be a starter, being the case of Doak who since pre-season has made merits to earn at least a chance in this campaign.

Reds have a different approach during the winter transfer window

With Luis Suarez not currently in the plans to strengthen the squad in the coming weeks, the Reds are looking to make no further changes in the winter transfer window, with the squad remaining as it was at the start of the season, perhaps with Fabio Carvalho returning and no more than that.
