This summer is turning out to be very different to what Liverpool would have initially planned, for although Jürgen Klopp and the Anfield board would have contemplated the departures of some players in order to sign others, there are some departures that are about to happen that were not budgeted for.
Such is the case of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, who are very close to leaving Liverpool to join Saudi Pro League clubs where they will earn a lot of money. Both players have reportedly told Jürgen Klopp of their respective desires to leave the club and embark on a new adventure, and the German tactician would have agreed because although they are two extremely important players, Klopp does not want anyone who does not want to be in the team.
However, the fact that Jürgen Klopp has decided to sell them does not mean that it will be easy to replace them, since before their departure the German tactician had already considered signing more midfielders, now with the departure of the captain and the Brazilian midfielder, that need has increased, and although there are still many players on the market, it seems that it will not be easy to sign them.
Liverpool's management has been working for weeks on the signing of Romeo Lavia, who due to his high cost has not been able to finalize his transfer to Anfield, however it seems that with the sales of Fabinho and Henderson, the 19-year-old Belgian midfielder could arrive very soon to the team, but it would still be insufficient so Klopp will have to think of a couple of more players to fill the gaps left by the departures of this summer.
Liverpool currently have a player in their ranks who has shown the potential to become one of the team's best players in the future, and with the departures of Hendo and Fabinho he could be given his big chance. We are talking about Stefan Bajcetic, the 18-year-old defensive midfielder who belongs to Liverpool and is valued at 13 million euros.
