The ratings for the new video game to be released in the next few days have been unveiled

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah's form at the start of the season is generating a lot of controversy. His poor showing for Liverpool has disappointed a number of fans who expected him to take the place of the leader in German coach Jurgen Klopp's team. But the African is causing controversy not only because of what he has failed to do on the pitch but also because of what is happening with him in eSports and specifically with the new installment of the FIFA 23 video game.

At 30 years of age and in his fifth year with the Reds, Salah has only managed two goals in six Premier League games and one in the Champions League group stage. He has clearly been affected by the departure of Senegalese attacker Sadio Mané, who was sold in the summer. His strike partner decided to leave in the summer for Bayern Munich for 33 million euros, ending a golden era with the team.

And although he is in decline, Mohamed Salah is still one of the best footballers in the world. And to prove it, he has a rating that appears in FIFA 23, which will be on sale in the next few days. His rating is 90, one of the highest in the video game, behind only Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé of Paris Saint-Germain, as well as Robert Lewandowski of Barcelona and his Dutch teammate Virgil Van Dijk.

The best quality the video game gives Mohamed Salah is dribbling with a score of 90 while defensive and physical qualities are the lowest rated. In passing he has an important rating of 82 and another of his best qualities is shooting which was rated with 89 points. These numbers place him as one of the best options to play in FIFA 23.

'These ratings are so fake'

However, several fans did not like these ratings of Mohamed Salah, describing them as exaggerated. On social networks you can read several tweets criticising the values placed on the African as they are considered exaggerated taking into account the poor performance he has had on the pitch at the start of the season. With only two wins so far this season, Sala is one of the players most singled out for Liverpool's poor results.
