There are sportsmen and women who are renowned for their high level of competitiveness, who are capable of doing the impossible to avoid defeat, even in their daily lives. That is the case of Uruguayan footballer Luis Suárez, a born winner, who has been the star of his son Benjamín's birthday by scoring a spectacular goal worthy of an elite player despite the fact that he was sharing the pitch with children. Suarez, 36, celebrated Benja's tenth birthday on a football pitch so he could play with his friends. The striker, who currently plays for Gremio of Porto Alegre, wanted to share the moment with his son and took part in the match.

In images that were leaked on social networks, the Pistolero appears in the area surrounded by children waiting for a corner kick to be taken. He raises his hands to ask for the ball. He breaks away from his markers, measures the cross that comes in, and finishes with a fantastic bicycle kick to score a fantastic goal. The goal generated the euphoria of many children who were invited to Benjamin's birthday party, several of them even ran from outside the pitch to embrace the Uruguayan idol, La Celeste's all-time leading scorer. It is not clear how the match ended and how long he played but the player from Salto showed that he is a real crack.

"Very happy birthday to the little one who is already growing up and to my little friend of great chats. I love you infinitely, Benja. Beautiful son, 10 years old," Suárez wrote in a post on social networks, where he showed that the setting of the celebration was about Gremio, his current team, although his son wore a Nacional shorts. Sofia Balbi, Lucho's wife and Benjamin's mother, also expressed her wishes for her son on social media: "Happy birthday to my favourite middle child in the world. The most sensitive and the most loving. Mum loves you to infinity. Today you complete 2 hands and I can't believe how big you are. May you be very happy son."

Suarez does not forget Liverpool

The Uruguayan does not forget Liverpool, as on X the Reds' account shared a memory of Suárez's hat trick against Norwich in 2012. Luisito's response was immediate and he posted that for him it is something unforgettable.
