With the failed signings of Caicedo and Lavia, André could be a prime target

In the last few days the outlook for our Liverpool in the transfer market has changed a lot and, at the same time, stayed the same. Although this sounds absurd it is real, because on the one hand it has changed as now everyone knows that the Anfield board has money which could change the prices the team will have to pay for other players, and on the other hand everything remains the same as we are still unable to finalize our third reinforcement of the summer.

The failed negotiations that took place in the failed signings of Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo have left the team in a very bad position, and now they must race against the clock to find new targets and sign them before the transfer window closes. In that sense, there are several names that have emerged and resurfaced as possible interests of Jürgen Klopp and one of them is the Brazilian midfielder André Trindade.

During the last couple of weeks, André emerged as a strong candidate to arrive at Anfield as a possible replacement for Romeo Lavia. Now, that has become a reality so it would not be strange to see Liverpool's board determinedly pursue the signing of André, who had been reported not to leave this summer due to Fluminense playing in the Copa Libertadores, however there is a possibility that Liverpool could secure his signing and that would be by paying his termination clause.

How much would Liverpool have to pay for André?

If Liverpool really want to sign André they will have to pay his termination clause, which is €40 million. Liverpool cannot afford to make the same mistake they made with Lavia, and must pay what the team that owns the player is asking for, if they do not want to waste any more time and strengthen the team.
