With the 2022-2023 season barely over, Jürgen Klopp made it clear that his top priority was to sign Alexis Mac Allister, and now the 24-year-old Argentine midfielder is already the Reds' new player.
Still yet to make his debut for the Reds, his arrival has caused quite a stir, as not only is he the first signing of the transfer window for the club, but he is also a player coming off the back of being a World Cup winner at Qatar 2022.
While everyone seems to approve of his arrival to the team, the expectation on Alexis Mac Allister is very high and he will have to learn to deal with it at the start of next season, and for that he will have to count on the support of his new teammates and of course of Jürgen Klopp.
In that sense, one of the great figures currently in the team, Andrew Robertson, assured that he is very happy that Mac Allister is joining the team and said that he would have liked him to arrive "a bit earlier" to the team to try to convince him to play for Scotland.
In that interview in which he spoke about Alexis Mac Allister, Andrew Robertson may have confirmed his future amid interest from Real Madrid to take him. Robertson assured that he is eager to play alongside Mac Allister, so he would be confirming that he will stay at Liverpool.
