While Bayern Munich are doing all they can to get a new contract for their German striker Leroy Sane as soon as possible, outside the Bavarian club the information they have at the moment revolves around a possible departure of the right winger to Merseyside and Liverpool, an institution that could present an offer that would be difficult to refuse.

To make the Reds' bid for Sane more attractive, Liverpool are believed to be offering one of their own players as a bargaining chip, with midfielder Curtis Jones selected to leave Merseyside and take up a new assignment from the Bundesliga. Although Jones has been one of the best starters in the squad this season, Klopp knows that the incoming signings will quickly make up for his absence, earning him the chance to become the new owner of the right-back position should Mohamed Salah's departure to Saudi Arabia, who has been so insistent on his services, come to fruition.

The overcrowding of the midfield with attacking and defensive players is not so convenient at the moment for Klopp, opting for a general strengthening of the squad, with the defence and the attack needing at least one player of renown and experience who can make up for momentary or definitive departures from the squad.

But even if Liverpool's proposal is attractive to Bayern, the Reds are aware that at the moment Leroy is a player who enjoys all the comforts of playing for the Bavarians, a situation that has led him to make statements that ensure that his stay in the Bundesliga is not in doubt, making this a complicated signing for Liverpool, who have the German attacker as their main man to replace Salah.
