According to Football Insider, there is talk that Liverpool could be on course to break a record revenue of around £550-600 million in their next financial results covering the entire 2021-2022 season, with the Reds chasing the quartet of titles they failed to win after finishing runners-up in the Premier League and Champions League until the final weeks of the season.

Having comfortably broken that pre-pandemic record of £533 million, the Anfield side could now look to those extra numbers to bring in a couple of players to meet expectations since their arrival at the club, as Jurgen Klopp and the management seem to see reinforcements as the quickest solution to their problem, which still persists, especially in midfield and attack.

The departure of Sadio Mané to Bayern Munich undoubtedly turned out to be a sale full of benefits at least financially for Liverpool, but at the same time they were affected by the £64 million they had to pay for the Uruguayan striker from Benfica, Darwin Núñez, who up until now has not demonstrated with goals the exorbitant price paid for him a few months ago.

Evidently the needs of the Reds have made Jurgen Klopp see in other teams the solution he needs so much to return to the top of the Premier League, taking advantage of Liverpool trying to offer their young stars with prices exceeding 100 million euros, as is happening with Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund or the case of Moises Caicedo of Brighton, two midfielders who have been closely linked with Merseyside.

The Reds have had great economic growth

Obviously the clubs are looking to generate another contract for the player to increase his value and thus have to be sold for much more money than what is currently on offer, as well as some will wait for the World Cup in Qatar to see if their stars are able to shine in selection to be able to earn a few extra million at the time of having to make the final transaction. For the time being Liverpool feel backed by the financial power behind them to at least be able to take Bellingham in a very short time.
