The United States Soccer Federation has pulled off a major coup by calling up Keyrol Figueroa for an Under-17 tournament in the Czech Republic. In addition to US nationality, the young striker has Honduran nationality (he was born in Tegucigalpa) and also has UK nationality, although for the time being he has decided to be active with the US youth team.

Figueroa will be with the USA U-17s for a tournament in the Czech Republic the following week, where they will face the hosts as well as Germany and Slovakia. Keylor is with the U.S. U-17 team since yesterday in Czech Republic and the tournament is called, Vaclav Jezek which will be played in the region of Zlin from September 16 to 26 of the same month and USA already slapped Fenafuth by stealing their jewel.

Honduras, who have closely followed Keyrol Figueroa's progress and development in England, have yet to call up the young prospect to their ranks and this has led to great uncertainty as to whether he could be given a chance in the future. Keyrol is the son of Honduran football legend Maynor Figueroa, who played for his country in two World Cups.

Keyrol Figueroa, a 16-year-old striker, plays for Liverpool FC U-18 and will also be active for the Reds in the Champions League Youth this season. Figueroa is considered one of CONCACAF's top prospects and it is likely that Honduras will be able to call him up in the future at youth national teams until the player himself and his family make a determination as to which national team he will represent.

England, USA and Honduras want Figueroa

The player had the decision in his hands, as being born in Honduras he has our nationality, he also has the nationality of the United Kingdom and the United States, the latter he achieved after his father, Maynor Figueroa, came to MLS in 2015 to join the Colorado Rapids, then went through FC Dallas until arriving at the Dynamo.
