Liverpool play down Nunez's dismissal, praise Diaz's goal in Palace draw

Darwin Nunez was sent off in the 57th minute and Luis Diaz's goal, some players played down the Uruguayan's early goal and praised the Colombian for his heroics.

Liverpool were held to another draw in the Premier League. Jurgen Klopp's side were drawn against Patrick Vieira's Crystal Palace on matchday two, with the result looking better for the Eagles after Darwin Nunez was sent off in the 57th minute and Luis Diaz's goal, some players played down the Uruguayan's early goal and praised the Colombian for his heroics.

Both vice-captain James Milner and German manager Jurgen Klopp told a post-match press conference at Anfield that they failed to see Nunez's altercation with Joachim Andersen, and while they rejected all violence in football and think the new reinforcement did wrong, they played down the incident in the match.

Nunez's sending off-

Nunez was trying to get Liverpool's qualiser against Crystal Palace at Anfield, but he got carried away by the provocation of the rival and complicated his team that is down to 10. Diaz's goal

The Colombian winger, who had not had much of a chance in his club's match against Crystal Palace, came up with an incredible move in the 61st minute in which he evaded several opponents and hit a powerful shot to level the game 1-1.
