Reds in their worst spell in years

The good news for Liverpool had to come miles away from Anfield, and with the defeat to Wolves in the Premier League, the club's morale is at rock bottom, with only one win so far in 2023 for Jürgen Klopp, who no longer knows what to do.

The media pressure with which The Pool go out onto the pitch in every game has overwhelmed them and this looks set to be the worst season in the Klopp era. The second half of the season has just begun and the Red's have already bowed out of the EFL Cup and FA Cup, leaving only the Champions League to play for, but up against them are reigning champions Real Madrid.

As for Real VARdrid, in the middle of training for the game in Mallorca, one of their superstars, goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, was injured. According to the Iberian press, his presence in the Club World Cup is in danger and there is even talk that his injury could last until the game against Liverpool in the Round of 16.

The Belgian was absent in the match that Madrid lost against RCD Mallorca, where they are practically handing the league to Barcelona. With this blow to their spirits and a saturated schedule, fortune is now smiling on The Pool who, despite everything that has happened in recent days, are still dreaming of lifting their seventh Champions League title in their history.
