With only a couple of months to go before the winter sales season works its magic in European football, Liverpool are already metallised and ready to avoid the embarrassment of the summer, when almost all doors were closed and they had to make last-minute purchases to try to stabilise a squad that was completely depleted by injuries in midfield, with Borussia Dortmund's star midfielder Jude Bellingham being their main target.
The British midfielder's great qualities, coupled with the football he plays and the way he fits into German coach Jürgen Klopp's game plan, are one of the main reasons why Liverpool are willing to fork out a large sum of money for Bellingham to leave Dortmund, even though he still has two years left on his contract with Die Schwarzgelben, not letting the Anfield side go for the world footballing gem for a third time.

The Reds' interest in the midfielder is a huge financial gain for the Bundesliga outfit, with the Briton set to experience his first World Cup at the end of the year and his sale value set to be around £131.6m, a hefty price tag that Liverpool could have saved many years ago if the midfielder's parents had agreed to a move to Merseyside.
According to The Athletic, Jude impressed the Reds during a two-day spell at Kirkby more than a decade ago, immediately seeking to stay on English soil at Rainhill High, but his family opted not to accept the £9,000 offer and return to the Midlands. Liverpool will now have to pay at least 14,000 times that figure if they are to prise him away from the Signal Iduna Park dugout in Germany.
By 2023, the England international's name will be all over Europe with a host of teams after him with both monetary and sporting offers, trying to get his eyes not only on Anfield, and knowing that, Liverpool will have to have the necessary resources ready to acquire one of the most promising young players in international football, because if his transfer is completed, the Reds would be entering this new trend where young players are the new path to success.
