After the end of the 2022-2023 season and being out of the next edition of the Champions League, Jürgen Klopp has reportedly decided to begin a restructuring of the squad, prioritizing the arrival of young midfielders who can immediately contribute to the team's performance. However, in order to make room for the new signings, there are players who need to leave the club.

Such was the case of the great figures who in previous years contributed to Liverpool's success, being important players within the German tactician's scheme, but who during the last campaign did not show their best level, such as James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino, who left the team as free agents.

Following the departure of these players, the Reds management was able to sign Qatar 2022 World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister, who played last season with Brighton. After securing Mac Allister's arrival, Liverpool is convinced that he was just the first of several reinforcements that will join the team this summer, prioritizing the arrival of young players with future prospects.

However, there are also players who, despite being young and considered great promises of the club, have not proven to be up to the task of competing for a place in the first team, which is why Jürgen Klopp has assessed that they could leave Anfield this same transfer market. Such is the case of Calvin Ramsay, a 19-year-old right-back who has proven to be one of Liverpool's most promising players, but will reportedly not play next season for the Reds.

Klopp's decision on Calvin Ramsay

According to various reports, Jürgen Klopp has reportedly told Calvin Ramsay of his intention to loan him out next season, as although he considers him a talented player, he believes it may be best for his professional development.
