After unfortunate injuries against Arsenal and Manchester City, Jurgen Klopp's side have not been able to find much room for improvement in terms of football. While the German manager has had to reinvent playing strategies that can address the shortcomings of his squad, injuries have delayed that goal for the Reds.
When it seems that Klopp has found a stability with which to work having recovered certain injured players, on the pitch some others suffer from this issue, leaving a certainly negative balance because the work of the German tactician has completely collapsed when having to start from scratch, happening with the injuries of Alexander-Arnold, Luis Diaz and now with that of Diogo Jota.
Liverpool's first casualty for West Ham confirmed, adds Luis Díaz

Although the injuries have made players like Harvey Elliott shine with their first starts, the Reds boss is worried about the limited squad he has at the moment, because even though Naby Keita has been confirmed to return to training and other players have been back for a couple of weeks, they still do not have enough rhythm to compete in the Premier League and the Champions League.
That midfield that until a few weeks ago looked so fragile with the absence of great players today has been almost solved, migrating the problem only a couple of meters up just with the offensive sector, the same that was able to solve the absence of Luis Diaz against Rangers and Manchester City with the incredible performances of Diogo Jota, but now even that momentary solution has been completely discarded for the remaining games until the start of the World Cup.
With Diaz and Jota sidelined, the Liverpool manager is still awaiting the return of Curtis Jones, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and above all Ibrahima Konaté, a defensive midfielder who suffered a muscle injury in the Champions League and is already set to return to action within days, with the Frenchman missing at least the West Ham and Nottingham Forest fixtures.
